Model Photo Shoot
I am interested in organizing a photo shoot with a swimsuit model (or models). A while back I recall someone organizing a photo shoot for a calender and local forum vette owners split the cost for the model, photographer and calender printing. I was thinking a photo shoot in late spring. Perhaps its a 16 month calender - Starting with March. Anyone in the Portland area interested?
At this point - I have no idea what the costs will be.

I'm still doing the research. The going rate for professional models varies but is generally around $100 to $150 per hour. I'm not sure but don't believe it would take more than 2 hours to complete the work. I'm checking into photographers and will have a better idea of their cost and the time commitment. I will report back when I have the additional info. (including calender costs).
Some one suggested I try a Hooters resturant or strip club for a low cost model trying to break into modeling. I think you get what you pay for.

I have a few models that I'm conversing with - they bill at $100 to $150 an hour depending on poses and amount of clothing. I have found a place that will do printing for the calenders. I have seen the quality of their calenders and there very good (worth $9.95 anyway) The offer the following:
13 photos. One photo for the cover and one for each month is displayed on premium glossy paper. Calendar is folded and "saddle-stitched" together yielding a professional grade product. Available in "full-bleed" format (no white borders).
The cost varies on quantities order as follows:
(1) $21.95 (2-10) $14.95 ea. (11-49) $11.95 ea. (50+) $9.95 ea.
I'm still checking on photographers. One of the models recommended that I find a photographer that has experience shooting girls and cars together. I've posted an add on Craigslist and received lots of eager photograpers willing to help! Most do not have experience with cars and girls. I have located one, Michael Kirk, who does good work and have placed a call into his studio to discuss the shoot and costs.
I'll also follow up on http://www.rockinbdigital.com to see what they have to offer.
I'll provide a recap when I have the last info and we can start to make plans for those interested.
