CMCS School Daze Track Day, 7-25-07
School Daze 2007 will happen!
After months of not having a date for our event at Pacific Raceways, we have now secured Wednesday, July 25th for our annual School Daze driving event. This is a great opportunity to experience why you bought a sports car.
Here are the details:
Ground School preparation for the event will be held Wednesday, July 18th, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm at Shoreline Community College in the Automotive Service Education Building. This school is mandatory for first time/novice entrants and recommended for all. We will cover the use of flags, driving lines, apexes, braking techniques, car prep, and more.
School Daze event will be held at Pacific Raceways on Wednesday, July 25th. Convertibles are required to have a hardtop or roll bar to participate.
School Daze is open to Corvettes (of course), BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Viper, Lotus, Alfa, Audi, Mustang, Firebird, Camaro, Cadillac V, and other marques as approved.
Qualified instructors will be available to help novice drivers.
Prices:
First Driver $190.00
Second Driver same car $150.00
Registration at the event $220.00
Late Tech inspection fee $ 25.00
Instructors pay $ 60.00 if you expect to drive
Checks should be made out to CMCS and mailed to CMCS School Daze, P.O. Box 534, Kirkland, WA 98083-0534
Helmets (Snell 1995), long sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed shoes are required.

That's only for people that show up late on track day. It isn't applied too often and is only meant to be an inducement to get people there on time. It's a real PITA to reassemble the tech team after tech is done and everyone has scattered to prepare to drive. If you're there on time there's no late fee.
