July 28th - Spokane - Glass on Grass
The Spokane Corvette Club (established 1958) will hold its 15th Annual Glass on Grass Corvette Car Show on Saturday, July 28, 2007, in Spokane Riverfront Park. Bring the Kids to the park and/or shop and eat downtown.
All Corvette owners desiring to participate in the non-judged car show can register at Riverfront Park on Saturday, July 28, between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Registration will close promptly at 11:30 a.m. All cars must remain in the Park until the close of the event at 4:00 p.m. – cruise to barbecue will follow. Last year’s event included 130 Corvettes and was highly successful. The Public is welcome and encouraged to “walk-around” and view unique Corvettes from the 1950’s to the present.
Registration fee per Corvette is $35 and includes a t-shirt, dash plaque, and great barbecue after the event, as well as a picture of your car in Riverfront Park. First come – first serve. Second car at no charge but does not include t-shirt and dash plaque. Additional t-shirts can be purchased at the event for $15 – again, first come-first serve.
Spokane Corvette Club President Dick McCarthy advises that: “The Club is
proud to have supported the community in various ways throughout its almost 50- year history. Some of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Washington State University’s Prostate Cancer Research.”
