Default PC vs. Flex polisher

I am hearing great things about this buffer. My PC is safe, I think to safe it takes for ever to get the job done. The Flex (made in Germany) is still very safe and twice as powerful with more shine satisfaction. So I have heard. Just dont know? Anyone?

HodRod,

I have heard quite a bit about the flex polisher and all good. I have had the PC for a while and it does a great job but it is hard to get swirls/scratches out of the Corvette clearcoat. I just ordered the flex and will be trying it out when I get it. I will update when I get it.

I use the Meguiar's random orbital buffer. Lifetime warranty. Never had a problem with swirl marks.

I use the Meg's also but it took me a long time to get most the swirls out of my 89. I plan on keeping my PC but for the big areas it would be nice to use something better. I don't want to get a rotary since I would probably screw my paint up and spend more on getting it fixed! I have read quite a few good things on the corvette forum and f150online forum about the flex. Check out this youtube video:

I have the Porter Cable and pad kit, seems to work well in my expierience,

someday this summer we should have a "Detail" or wash and wax day, where we can try these different waxes/ polishes and buffing equipment products in combination with each other..
