Maybe the car isn't so bad but I just can't get past that horrible wing.

I've seen some vette's with big wings don't like them either.
If it's functional, I don't consider it "ricey". Of course Porsche has been fitting their cars with (functional) aerodynamic devices since way before many of the "ricers" were even born. And I agree with OregonVette80, some of you guys really need to expand your automotive horizons

Thanks for posting the pics, Damon.

I think they need to ditch the wing. Use an integrated spoiler if you have to. I understand it also has a back seat???

I'd like to test drive one, just to see what all the hoopla's about.

Yes it did have a back seat. Not a real big one, but it was there. The guy said he cruised up through northern California on his way here and was cruising at 120 mph with ease. He also said he was supposed to have it serviced at 1,200 miles (nissan recommends) and no one knew how to service it because it was too new. 90,000 and no one knows how to work on it?? All i can take is his word on the power, but i bet it hauls azz!

I'll put my automotive horizons up against yours anyday. I don't like those big ugly (functional) wings I don't care what type of car it is. Everyone has their own opinion, who are you to judge.

The "expand their horizons" comment was not directed directly at you - sorry you took it personal. But it is pretty obvious reading many posts on this forum that many seem to have very limited automotive interests and a LOT of disdain for anything that is outside of that limited area. Which, in my opinion is kind of sad because there is a lot of cool stuff out there!

Thank you. I won't take it personal though.

I just want to know how you managed to figure me out so well? Do they teach "mind reading" now and if they do can we hope for a "seeing into the future" class as well. That one would really interest me.

"Cool stuff" to one person isn't necessarily "cool stuff" to another person. I like tasteful spoilers on cars but I don't like wings whether functional or not. They look on a race car but a bit over the top on a street car.

A couple of months ago we had a new SS Cobalt with a HUGE wing. The salesmen and I all thought it would be on our lot forever but it sold within a matter of days to a guy who was looking for a "sexy" car.

Thank goodness we don't all share the same view of "cool" or "sexy".

wonder how much he paid....

The thing i like most about it, is what the corvette Could and SHOULD have.. the digital information center with all theose configurable gauges you can see at the SAME TIME!

my friend told me he saw a new one about 1 month ago.. guess i have to believe him now.
