Why would you want to? What year car are you talking about?
C4's have their headlamps in the clamshell hood so driving a C4 without a hood might be considered "illegal" as you would not have headlamps.
If the RCW states that kit cars and street rods (by definition) don't have to have hoods, how could you put a Corvette into that category?

You could be the first, I don't think I've ever seen a C-4 thru C-6 run without a hood they don't look right. I have seen the early vette's without them, as far as legal part, who decides what is a street rod?

It was actually for a 01 Viper. I went to the corvette club dyno day at carb. connection. Decided since I have no front plate & am running hooisers 
on the rear,that a stop by WSP most likely wouldnt go my way. The dyno date turned out to be a very good event.
