I saw a 2008 Z06 at Hazelwood in Bremerton for 55K. It is like brand new and had 1200 miles on it if anyone is interested.

Did you run it or did they? I talked to a salesman on the lot, he said the guy traded it because he had a gf with kids and bought a CTS-V.

I ran it right from their site. They offer a free Carfax.

Do you really think the guy traded that car for his GF?

Saleshole probably didn't know about the accident or he knew and lied. A potential buyer knowing about an accident the car was involved in might be a good way to get an even better price but with an independent vehicle inspection.

I think I would be concerned about potential frame damage as it's aluminum and it's hard to say if whoever repaired the car had experience with aluminum frames.

Hey man.... I didn't mean anything by the snarky face.

Just to set the record straight, I bought that car last night. You were right, it was perfect. The accident was all about avoiding a deer which resulted in a small off road excursion that scrapped the passenger side rocker. $700.00 total cosmetic damage. My mechanic will go over the car today and if there is something discovered it is deal off. My feeling right now based on the way the underside looks and the way the car drives there is nothing wrong.

Thanks for the tip on Haselwood. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from them.

Again, apologies for the snarky.

Quick update. Lee Johnson in Kirkland gave the car the mechanical once over and a subsequent green light. I guess she's a keeper.

It sure looked good to me when I saw it. For the money, its a steal. All the depreciation is gone..good luck.

By the way, did you see the 2009 red coupe out front for 65K.

Sure did.. I had to drag the wife away from that one and keep her focused on the work at hand.

Congratulations on your purchase! That's a pretty good price for 1200 miles on the clock; almost the same price I paid for my 2008 Coupe brand new (all options except for the 4LT) so quite the good deal. Hope you enjoy it and the car doesn't see any more deer!

By the way, what color is it?

Thanks and sorry for the slow response. I've been off playing with the car for the last week or so. Not necessarily driving it but cleaning and changing fluids.

It's black with ebony; 2LZ. I now have had the chance to get it up on my own lift. The car is perfect. Zero issues. I've also taken it to AccuTint in Bellevue. They installed a 3M clear bra on it last week. This thing is borderline scary to drive. All it wants to do is get up and go. I really need a radar detector now.
