Is it ok to wave at the Caddy XLR's? When I do they never wave back.

It's a Cadillac, not a Corvette. IMHO, it doesn't deserve a wave.

It's too bad that some Corvette drivers don't wave to each other. "The Wave" has been around for many years and it would be nice if the tradition would keep going strong. I always wave

Yes it's a Caddy, and no it's not a Corvette, although they are more than kissin cousins from what I think I know...

Sure they are (were) made in the same building and the XLR engine and driveline are the same along with some other systems. I just don't see it as a twin or clone of the Corvette in spite of sharing of the C5/C6 platform.

Look at the Chevy Trailblazer SS; it uses the Corvette motor but I would hardly call it a Corvette.

I got a wave from a civic the other day, one finger too... He must love corvettes, not sure why else he would have when I was just cruising 5 over with cruise control

Ummmmmmm Why would they? They probably think you're mental. Heck why not wave to the "Chevrolet Optra" it too is a "Chevy" even if it is make in South Korea.
