I've started going to this (gone the last two weeks) and it's great. Coming from me that's pretty big as I REALLY dislike sitting around staring at cars -much prefer to drive.
With that said this event is great, a lot of really cool enthusiasts, amazing cars and I'd love to see more vettes represented.
We could start doing weekly drives after this too (typically ends around 10:30).
Any interest?
There is another Z06 and I that make the drive in the morning. We meet up around Auburn around 8am.
If you're looking for a destination Saturday, consider the Gig Harbor Uptown Car Show. It's just off Hwy 16 at the Gig Harbor/Point Fosdick turnoff. Details below in another post.

Thanks Jack,
I'm sticking with ERTC, this event is great and I've had a blast every time I've gone so far.
If the weather cooperates next Saturday, I'll be there. Anyone else want to join me? I'm planning to have lunch in one of the two the resturants right next to the event.
I'm out of town for memorial weekend. If any southenders want to go the following Saturday I'm down. We are actually going to remlinger farms for pics after too.
I've decided this will be a weekly event for me as long as I'm in town.
Not to start a flame war but exactly what is considered an Exotic? Is it the selling price of the car or is it the country that the car came from or ????
There are a lot of messages are about cars that you don't see very often being an exotic yet there are a ton of Porsche at the meet.
The Aston Martin is the sister to the Jaguar XKR & XK8. The Aston Martin uses the Jaguar's 4.2 engine and jumped it up to 4.3, it has a 6 speed manual where the Jaguar has a 6 speed automatic PLUS a back seat to hold your jacket. Both are hand built using the same material that is bonded the same way for both cars.
The Aston and the Jaguar have about 95% the same body lines. The Aston Martin is in the $125,000 and up price range and the Jaguar XKR is in the $101,000 price range and the XK8 is $98,000+. Which is the Exotic?
Maybe"Exotic" is politically correct for this millenium, replacing the term "Foreign". If that's the case, since Corvette's are made in the good ole USA , they will never be considered "Exotic", including my ZR1 ........ unless you're in the the UK or EMEA
If that's the case, all Jag's and Aston's are "Exotic"

I recommend going to the website where all the local exotics post. I think Pat already linked to it in this thread. Ask them what an exotic is. They will be able to inform you.
Eh, I realize my definition isn't accurate but I'd say any high end sports car (and for reference I think the ZR1 is the only vette that falls into that category).
Most would likely say uncommon cars though.
At any rate it doesn't matter what you bring, they are all very friendly. My best friend came out with his G35 and nobody gave him crap for it.
