Our GD cat will make a beeline to the Corvette IMMEDIATELY after it is washed or waxed. If I don't get it covered in time, there will be Mojo cat prints with accompanying sand and grit all over the hood and roof. For the last three weeks though, it has been used almost every day, so no cover. He seems to have more interest in "clean" Corvettes, than dirty ones.
A cat ever gets near my Corvette (when I get one), it's going to a shady Korean BBQ restaurant I threatened Sara's cat like that... don't think she liked it too much. Can't figure out why?
I would also advise against using a car cover in the garage if the cat goes in the garage ....... they love to try and crawl up underneath the cover
I have my Vette covered at all times in my garage, my cat has never tried to get under the cover. Her box is also in the garage and yes she likes to sit on the roof of the car and look out of the window. I have a couple of old moving blankets which I place on the hood and top of the car thus eliminating any problems. I get a kick out of folks that will bash their pet then turn around and drive their Vette in nasty weather!
I have been trying to figure out a way to keep the neighborhood cats from leaving their little mementos in our vegetable garden and flower planters without resorting to drastic (lethal) methods.
I have found a way to keep one cat from jumping on my black pickup - every time I see him headed that direction I let him get close then grab my key fob and hit the panic button. He leaves the premises post-haste.
First of all....what are you doing with a cat....all they're good for is stir fry.....
Wow Walter...just when I was starting to like you AS a owner of 2 cats perhaps I could begin to talk about how I think my two cats could be more of a dog than a sissy poodle. I mean be a dog for crying out loud if you're going to be called one. Now where's my drink??
Cats are wonderful pets but they belong in the house, not out.
Agreed. When (if) my wife gets over the death of her cat, Murphy, we will have one or two in the house. I just wish I could convince our neighbors that cats make wonderful house pets.
