As some of you may know, in addition to my Corvette passion, I am also a bike kind of guy, my last 2 being Ducatis.
Has anyone had any experience with MV Agustas? Primarily the 4-cylinder S4 and the 750 Brutale S? I've long loved these exotic bikes and am probably out of my mind for even thinking of one.

Thanks, yes I know... I just can't stand the notion of being seen riding something I can actually afford.
Besides, from my Ducati days - more recent than you might guess - I love nothing more than dragging my knees through corners and playing 20 questions with people at Starbucks and gas stations.
Besides, anything larger than a sport bike will not fit in the garage between the red Chevy and my Wife's Mazda.
Yeah, I'm itching to get back into riding as well. Sold my GSXR750 last year and miss riding in general. I'm no help to you either, I just feel your pain.

I understand completely. Frankly, the fact that you rode a Gixxer 750 just tells me you're a serious rider and don't need the admiration - if it could even be considered as such - of the SQUIDS who insist on a liter bike or a Hayabusa. Skill at riding a lighter bike will always overcome the incompetence that requires 200 HP. Don't you think?

Maybe she should talk to my wife who rides to work every day, year round. She's driving now but thats because her knee surgery is healing up, but she'll be back on it soon. In the meantime, the rebuilt engine arrived from Harley Davidson yesterday. Should be done close to the end of next week.
Photo taken after I sold it and it was converted back to street trim. Used it to win two WMRRA state championships in Open GP Twins in the mid '90s. The motor was built out by Mike Velasco (Freddie Spencer tuner) using an AMA 955 homologation kit. After racing this thing I consider the Z to be a slow motorcycle with training wheels.
A friend of mine, Jack, owns an MV. He also owns a great Italian restaurant in Auburn, Ristorante Auguri.

Give him a call (253-887-1559) and tell him I sent you. Jack is a motorhead, bikes or cars. You could probably even talk him out of a ride.
They also serve great food! Perhaps a future meeting location?

Beautiful bike Dean. I've always liked the 888s. All the Taglioni bikes. My Monster S4 had the 916 Desmoquattro superbike engine with a few mods and a LV Titanium exhaust and a smaller sprocket. Fabulous bike and not the torture rack my later Sport 1000 replica cafe racer was. The white wheels really set your bike off. I am getting so tired of black wheels on black bikes...
Thanks, too, for the suggestion on the resturant. I'll have to check it out.
Just recently bought a 2010 Yamaha Raider. I am a cruiser guy myself. Besides I love riding with the wife on the back. Only problem I have now is choosing what to take on the sunny days.

Will have to check that model out. Never heard of it. Is it new in Yamaha's lineup? I have occasionally considered a cruiser. Even rented one - a Fat Boy - last time we were in (on?) Maui. I can understand why a lot of people enjoy them. Just couldn't quite talk myself into one though.

This feeling is not exclusive. When the wife and I are on our bikes and we see a Corvette, we're thinking, "Oh...we should be in the Corvette". Vice versa when we are in the Corvette cruising and see a couple of Harley's going by.

Really? Looks to me like you've already been pulled over by the local LEO and only just starting to put your hands up. Very nice of the Sheriff's office to send you the photo from the in-car video camera.
