So my right rear has been leaking air pretty consistantly. Stopped by dealer and they showed me where the air is leaking most likely due to thinned or chipped chrome. So I'm weighing the cost of having it repaired or trying to buy a new rim. Can anyone recommend a shop in the area that's reasonably priced? They are just the chrome wagon wheels.

Check out Steve's Custom wheels! http://www.stevescustom.com/

This guy does great work. I've had him repair two of my Comp Grey rims and all four of my brothers Z06 rims. All came out looking like new. He's also done work for other board members as well and the work looks great. Quick turnaround also.

Never mind. He has a couple of exceptions, one being chrome. Doesn't do chrome work.

I've had this problem with my old Mercedes. I had the insides sandblasted and that worked for a while. I finally replaced the wheels with non-chrome wheels. I found out that in Germany chrome wheels are outlawed for this reason. Time for some new thin spokes or??
Good luck.
