So, after needing another rear set of tires (and fronts are still good)! Where do I go for a good, fair priced alignment for a C5 Corvette? Preferrably in the Kitsap/Mason/Tachoma area?
Omni Brake and Alignment in Kirkland has always done us right--they did my dad's C5 back in the day and he never chewed through tires again. They've also done my Subaru and his ZR1--first class work, knowledgeable staff, car-nuts, and friendly guys.
A bit of a drive, but well worth it. They also don't over-charge, and actually charged me less than what they quoted.
Went to Omni a few years back... Low tech, inexpensive, but OK... Just when to T/C motorsports in Aurburn last month... Up to date equipment, very professional. You can tell they work on "Sports Cars". Different type of cars and owners! and they know it... we are more demanding and are very willing to help. Go to Omni or GM dealer for "just an alinment" T/C if you want great quality work.
I completely agree with NWbluez06. I just had my car at TC Motorsports in Auburn the other day and they did a fantastic job. State of the art gear and very **** in making sure things are done right and spot on. I know it is not in the Kitsap/Mason/Tachoma area but they are well worth the short trip!

Pat's work at Omni has always been more than OK on my cars. My C5 got over 50,000 miles on GoodYear run flats, with Omni's "just an alignment".The replacement GoodYear GS D3's had over 34,000 miles on them and still looked amazing when I traded the car. Omni also did my ZR1 and I can't wait to see how many miles I get with Michelins. I get the feeling we will be waiting a long time to find out though.
Shoot! With all that fancy equipment at T/C Motorsports and you being more demanding, I'd be surprised if you don't get 75,000 miles on your "Sportscar"!

I can highly recommend Tru Line Frame & Wheel, in Bellevue. Byron knows his stuff and has never failed me in over 42 years of commercial and personal work. My '07 had 7,000 miles on it when I got it in Oct of last year and who'd-a-thunk it would have needed an alignment. Byron looked at the tires and said it was waaay out of specs. We put it on his rack and after checking 14 different measurements, guess what. Only four were in spec, and only just barely. I hadn't noticed any issues with the way it drove before I went in, but when I drove out...WOW! Noticeable & definite improvement. When's the last time an alignment tech asked you how much you weigh, how much your wife weighs and how much of your driving is solo compared to with her in the car? And then he hands you a list of the specific tire pressure he wants you to run in each individual tire. I'm tellin' ya...this guy is is very picky about how he sets up each individual car. Believe me...it's worth the drive.
Oh yeah...and tell him Paul sent you!
