Default Vashon Ferry

Anyone ever had a problem getting on and off the Vashon ferry in their C6?

I am going over there tomorrow for an event and to visit friends and was thinking about taking the C6 Aero Lightweight (1 of 42). Never taken it on a Ferry before.

It's stock, not lowered.

I looked at the tide charts but can't translate them into anything meaningful so far as my car is concerned.

NOTE: Those of you who are PO'd at me over some of my diatribes on this forum, need not respond. Hey, c'mon, it's a forum...

Here are the Seattle tides for tomorrow. Best Corvette loading times will not be at LOW tide in the AM. So after about 0830 would be the best time. The next low tide will be okay too because it is not a real LOW tide. Just try to avoid the few hours around the early AM low tide. The rest of the day should be fine. Have fun Phil.

Low 5:42 AM -0.3
High 1:16 PM 9.4
Low 6:12 PM 7.1
High 11:35 PM 10.4

Here is the schedule for Fauntleroy to Vashon for tomorrow:

I didn't have any issues last trip out there. SEA to Vashon was done at low tide, but I don't think it was quite as low as the AM tide didn't settle is showing.

Yes...any tide that is close to zero, zero, or minus is going to be trouble.

Thanks. Checked the schedules and tides info you sent and had no problem whatsoever. I did scrape a little with the air dam, but nothing to be concerned about. Interestingly when boarding at both ends the crew sent us over to the side and front, pretty much out of swinging door distance from any cars near us.

Taking the trip over to Vashon certainly reminded me what a beautiful place the Puget Sound are truly is.
