When you decide to start accumulating parts, there are several Corvette Forum dealers who also sell genuine Corvette parts at very good savings. I have had good experiences with Fichtner Chevy in Montana and Gene Culley.

They both advertise on this Forum and are very helpful if you have questions too.

The advice to check out the local Corvette club is excellent. I'm sure you will both be welcomed and someone will be glad to show you the way for normal maintenance and tips.

Oh, and welcome back to WA!

thanks for the pricing. the oil change is about the same as what they would charge around here. i think im gonna hold off on transmission/diff change since i dont think its an absolute must right now. my main thing is a/c so im still gonna ask around and get good referrals. im not gonna do the work right now. its winter almost so will just do oil change as im down to 25% and will bite the bullet to get the rest of the service done before next summer.

If you're up for a drive to Scio, OR (1hour or so roughly from PDX), I'll show you how to do it (swap fluids, swap belt), should take an hour or two depending on questions asked.

I'll do it for a 6pack of something good.
