I'm sorry.. but I've read this a hundred times and I still can't figure out what it means.
Follow the on screen instructions and post a response to an authorized CORVETTEFORUM.COM Sweepstakes forum post and you will be automatically entered in the drawing. The entry must include a suggestion on a regional thread in the events/discussion section.
Are we suppose to find an EXISTING post and reply? or begin a NEW post in the appropriate regional section (like this one)? And are we suppose to add a photo?
HOLD IT... I think I found the answer.....
If you don’t see a thread for your area, look at the sticky thread showing the list of regional events coordinators. There is one posted in each regional section. Contact that person and ask them to go ahead and post a contest thread
Okay, so we need to PROMPT the right person (somehow).... and THEN add a reply to their posting.... hummmm....
Looks like we need a volunteer to serve as a regional events coordinator in the Pacific Northwest. I hope one or all of you in this thread will volunteer your services.
If you will agree to volunteer as a regional events coordinator for your area, I'll add you to the list. Then, you can post a Fikse wheels giveaway thread for your area, so you and others in the Pacific Northwest can post suggestions for activities in the thread and become eligible for the giveaway on the set of wheels.
The primary duty for RCs is just to make sure there is a thread in your regional section that lists activities and events available for people in the area.
If you have the time to go beyond that, you can plan and organize some events -- maybe just inviting people to rendezvous at a restaurant or park for a meet and greet some Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
If you have the time and inclination, you can coordinate with other RCs in your region to set up a larger scale regional event.
Well, I suppose I could help...I've been co-admin for forums and have ran my own in the past. (mostly Gaming related) But know I am new to the PNW (moved here mid June for new Boeing position-my 26th year with them, SoCal) and just moved into our new home over the past 2 days in Sammamish, WA. So don't expect me to be organizing things much!
Ha Ha...already see more than enough events in here. Be awhile before I can attend as we have a few hundred boxes of stuff to go through in the new house. I do plan on hitting up XXX sometime, though right now I can't even get the Vette out of the garage..to many boxes in front of it!
FYI, have owned my MY '04 Z06 since August of '11, flew to Montana and drove it 1200 miles home to SoCal.
Would whoever volunteers PLEASE include us Oregonians in the "get togethers" Was wondering why no forum meets! Hubby and I spend the summers going to shows and drives with our 2 clubs. Would love to meet forum members while at the shows. Seattle in Sept was SPECTACULAR!!!

We've gone from 0 to three regional coordinators in WA, but still need volunteers for OR. Maybe you and your husband would consider helping. It would be a great way to get to know fellow Forum users in your area.
And... I'd be happy to step down and free-up a WA slot and give it to an OR person!!!
By the way... thanks for the comment about SIS. It is hosted one exit from my house. I was at the Factoria show-and-shine.
Don't hesitate to post events about Oregon. I drove my '66 to the Oregon Gardens last summer. Spent five days there. Hope to visit "somewhere" in Ore-re-gone again sometime next summer.
