I like it !! And to think we just gave them toys and money.

Toys for Tots is one of our club's annual recipients and something we always look forward to.

But why is your hood open?

Just took the car out for the photo, it was connected to a trickle charger. Still has original 2006 bat and I want to make it last a while longer. Also, the nose on the front lights up!

Looks great Mike! They should make those accessories on the order sheet.

I can't believe I'll be out of town for this run again! I was going to have fun deciding between which Chevy to bring...

BTW - I hope the nose is on there really securely.... I'd hate to be behind you if that thing's lit up, and comes off on the freeway.... INCOMING!

Our club is just doing the drop off at the Issaquah XXX so it will not be at highway speeds.

How did I do it.

Picked up the Rudolph antlers and nose at Bartells Drug store but my wife said they were cheaper at Walgreens. >$14.

Went to Michaels Craft Store and found a small clear globe that is used for making your own Snow Globes. I painted it red with a very light coat. $6.?

Went to Orielys auto store and picked up a 12v light and socket, I think it is number 194 light and socket. The socket will fit in the bottom of the globe by drilling a hole to fit the socket. Run some wires with a fuze and it's done. If I did it again I would go with a bigger bulb and socket, not bright enough in daylight. Stay with a clear bulb the red bulbs are not bright enough.

Velcro attached to the bottom of the globe screw cap and used the 3M easy release velcro on the car.

Thanks for the intrest.

Ah - I thought you were doing the run to PAC Raceways. That's a pretty big get together every year. Pretty fun. I'll have to double heck the date for that now.

Is the Toys for Tots drive at Pacific this Sunday? I'm in. Being a jarhead, I've always donated $$ to them every year but to also do a car meet at Pacific sounds fun. I'll have to find the original post that has all the information so I don't miss out.

I've seen videos from a few TFT runs where the local police close off a section of the freeway and allow the people who donated to do a WOT run down the road...

Aaron,
I'm not sure of all events at pacific but I did look this up:http://www.kentreporter.com/community/181235031.html. It has the data for TFT at Pacific. CMCS is just doing a local short run from the Issaquah Highlands down to XXX to drop off our load of toys. Nothing known about continuing on to Pacific, at least not in my plans.
