One more congrats. You will absolutely love the C6, and the '08s included the slightly better steering and crisper tranny, along with the carbon fiber look console.
But most of all, they are just fun cars, but aren't they all?
I've had my 2008 for 5 1/2 years and still love it so I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of your new ride. M6 or A6 tranny? They upgraded the '08 to the rev matching downshift in our year which made the auto a lot more fun. Congrats.

Thanks Aaron. It's the A6 in the '08 and I had the M6 in the C5. I have not really had much of a chance to play with the paddles, but rest assured, I will. I specifically wanted an '08 for all the great upgrades they made that year.
You know, you could have used the money from the C5 to make a nice down payment on a Grand Banks Aleutian 59. Something big enough to take all os us on a GTG around the sound.
I'll look forward to your thoughts on the A6. I love my M6 in the Aero Lightweight (one of only 42) but often think I might like the A6.

Congratulations!
Actually, I don't mind it so far. Except the day I brought it home and still thought I was driving a M6...went for the clutch and hit the brake with my left foot and damn near threw myself thru the windshield. Fortunately there was no one behind me. Haven't done that since.

I can just picture you doing that... I've really enjoyed the A6; it takes some getting used to but I use it for about 95% of my driving. The only time I really leave it in auto is when I'm cruising the freeway in light traffic. I'll enjoy your impressions once you've had a chance to use it more.
