Just as soon as LPE figures out an AWD system for the car. Ken Lingenfelter ended up buying mine and I told him they need to fix the traction problems with their big HP cars but I'm not holding my breath.
OK, Mt Hood Corvettes has our Fall Tour coming up and we are heading North. Any dealers in WA have the new C7 on display??
When's the date and the route? Just mention it because we're bringing a bunch of old Hydroplanes again over to Lake Chelan on the 5th and 6th of October. The limited hydro guys seem to be turning out in greater numbers and there is supposed to be a car show this year.
I've got my fingers crossed, but we might even have a new (replica) unlimited show up from the midwest.
Would love to see the My Hood people again. I think the last time I had a chance to meet them in person was 3 or 4 years ago.
They have now landed at two dealers here in Houston. I plan to go look at a white on red with black wheels this weekend. Will report back if interested.

Nice. Of all the color combos I've seen so far the white with red interior, black wheels, carbon flash package, red calipers and exposed cf roof gets me the most excited. I'd be interested in your impressions. Shoot me a pm.

Traction problems? You mean too much power? Try 600+RWHP in a lighter C5Z. Mine's really easy to drive. My right foot determines the traction limit, and that's OK with me.

I grew tired of not being able to use the 722 RWHP and 743 RWTQ I paid for below 80 mph which constituted 99 percent of my driving. Too much horsepower is never enough (ask Fred). Power paid for and not used is money wasted light foot or not. And yes it was a lighter C5.

I can see the problem. It's location. Wet roads with way too much traffic, and year-round, too. I can't hook up with street tires (Invo 325-30/19) below 80 mph, unless the tach is below about 3500.

If wet roads are your only problem tub your rear end and upsize your rears to 335 or 345 series. That should do it. Fred and I have other issues.

Not MY problem....I live in Pasco. Blowing dust, and a black car are my biggest foes. I really don't want to tub, and the centri SC system is very gradual, letting me squeeze the pedal, for as much spin as I want. You're the one in Everwette.
