Thanks for posting that Pat!

I would love too but ........ even trading in the two vettes and with what cash I could contribute ........ I'd still be about $25K short for the way I'd want it. Now .... if you guys were willing to start up a collection ......

But Red Racer is indeed correct .... it would have to have chromies on it.

Oh, YES!

At least from the photos, it is time to seriously consider a green C7. I can't wait to see one. Especially with Chrome wheels as the cognoscenti* on this thread have already expressed.

While still in my Porsche 911 mode, I saw a new Polo green C4, nearly identical to what Mark already has and was willing to buy it on the spot, until my wife drove it. Having been driving manual transmission cars for so many years, she nearly stuffed me through the windshield when we test drove it and she hit the brake on this automatic-equipped car and decided then and there she didn't want one. Or, for that matter, didn;t want me to have one either.

So we ended up with yet another 911. No regrets there, but ever since that Polo Green C4 entered the picture, I was set off along the Corvette trail.

So years passed, our retirement entered the picture and no longer did a 911 seem to fit the plans of our adventures of touring. So we bought a C6, no regrets there either, but it was not avaiiable in Polo Green.

I've been considering a new C7 though there's really no reason to sell the C6 and the C7 should be around for a few years and only get better with each year.

This new green - what is it - Bowling Green - may be a decision changer.

With chrome wheels of course.

On the other hand, a new classic hydro project has started to loom so it may be a while, as I tend to spend too much time and money on such nonsense.

Wonder what it will look like in convertible mode? The C7, not the Hydro

Jim I always figured you for being the first one of us (the PNW group) to purchase a LRG vert. For me, my preference really is the coupe,

However we both have excellent taste

Unfortunately, my most pressing problem is one of storage space. We have 5 cars and only a 1 car garage

Mark, if you buy a C7 maybe I can help you out. I could keep it garaged here for you but you would have to leave the keys so I could move it if necessary. Just willing to help. KM

Since retirement, there is this small inconvenience known as "lack of finances". If we EVER trade out of this Cyber Gray Grand Sport that we both absolutely love, it will be a few years down the road or after we hit a big Powerball.
