Is it Sunday yet? It can't get here soon enough. I predict Seattle will decimate Kaepernick and company. The good guys will win.
You may be right, Fred, but I hope not. By all accounts this should be a really good game. Perhaps better than the Super Bowl. I'm pulling for the 'Hawks of course, but can't overlook the way the SF team has been playing late in the season.
I am hoping it will not be a blowout regardless of who wins.
Maybe we should go watch the game at Poodle Girl's. If we drink enough of his single malt he's got hidden we may not care who wins or loses. If it's like the last time we went over there, we'll be lucky to find which TV channel it's on.
Maybe he'll let us drive his new car. Hay! wouldn't that... sorry I meant to say, Hey!

So true.
For me, this was better than the Super Bowl which now, seems more like an afterthought and somewhat anti-climatic. To beat our most bitter rival in this fashion with all the lead-up to this game even in the national media, was HUGE.
Beating the Broncos in a couple weeks seems unimportant now. Won't be nearly as much fun as beating our biggest NFC rival today.
That was one hell of an ugly game. I'm a long time Niner fan, but rooted for the Hawks cause I like them too, love Pete Carroll (USC fan) and they deserve a Superbowl Ring.
But where were the Offensive Line? Russell spent more time back pedaling than anything. 4 sacks. And no one seemed to have anticipated Kapeneck's speed....it was not a good Hawks showing that's for sure.

The offensive line was pretty darn busy holding off the Niners' defense front. I agree that, the win notwithstanding, it wasn't the Hawk's finest performance. Consider the first offensive play when Russell couldn't hold to the ball which led to a SF field goal (not a TD fortunately).
Then that long run by Koepernik (or whatever his name is) was a fluke, though the Hawk's defense was probably to blame.
In the end, the Hawks finally persevered and deserved to win. But, you're right, it wasn't the prettiest game ever played, but it sure was fun to watch.
