I did my best and struggled with patience to try to enjoy Thanksgiving with my wife's family, but 42 people - including lots of kids and one loose dog in a small house with a couch and only a few chairs made it difficult. I'm sure I suffer from SAD (social anxiety disorder) I did however find that by taking a plate and just rotating through the line, picking up a bit of turkey and some tidbits each time worked well enough.
Now, back to real life... Go Cougs! (and take the Mariners with you)
As you might surmise, this is not my favorite holiday. It's like hanging out with Poodle Girl and having to bring my own Scotch - and glass. Wish I'd thought to invite him to come along.
