It all depends on the turn out and when you show up.
I attended the season opener and there were more than 10 Corvettes inside and probably as many parked in outer lots. The event was filled with unique and exotic cars that forced any late comers to park in the lot on the other side of a building from the main parking lot. But the main parking lot is not the featured cars. The featured cars are along two streets that are closed down.
The group of Corvettes that showed up before 8:30 am were able to park together. I arrived around 9:30 am and was waved through the lot as they searched (not really) for a spot for me. I ended up on the other side of that building.
As long as you're prepared to make a full morning of it you should be able to get in. Once in, there is no leaving early.
All Corvettes are the same to them. A base C6 is treated the same as a Z06. If you don't get there early, you're out of luck parking with the main group of cars on display.....

What I was told this weekend is "ZO6 or up and C7's only". Need to find another place to hang out on Saturdays, E@RTC is getting too high brow for me. Now if you have a German daily driver they have a place for you, Corvettes are not exclusive enough :-)

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe they would like a Swedish car better. I may bring my 02 Volvo S40 daily driver with faded black bumper trim, door dings and scratches in the clear coat.
Seriously, I'd like to find a place, especially on the east side or north end, where well-kept Vettes are appreciated.

Something doesn't sound right here. The people who manage the event have always welcomed most, if not all, Corvettes that show up when there's room. Now maybe this is a policy change or the turnout was so large that they had to make a cut-off somewhere. I guess I could also understand it if they wanted to make sure somehow the lot didn't get filled with more prosaic Corvettes, like mine, and have no room left for the ZO6 and C7's.
I'm sure there's a reason for it. Somebody will respond I'm sure. Hell, even if they didn't allow any Corvettes I'd still attend.

To my point, it's disorganized and you don't know what to expect anymore. For the past several years, the event seems to have doubled in participation. Someone should respond as a courtesy. Many car enthusiasts as well as corvette owners spend hours readying their cars only to be told something different weekly when they arrive.
Having said that, it's a volunteer organization, so let's be thankful we have people willing to give up their free time for our enjoyment.

In the "old days" they had free use of the parking lot from 166th to 164th. From what I heard Saturday, BJ's opens at 1100 and wanted the lot (East side) cleared for their customers. This cut the available lot to the east end only. Less parking for more cars as it's grown. Now they need to restrict entrance to "exotics" or what Roy Cats, Park Place, Bellevue Lambo, and Seattle/Lynnwood Mercedes sell.
No big deal, it's a free event. If I want to attend they have no problem with me and the Maserati but look down their noses when I want to drive the GS Vert on a nice day.
Sunday I had the option of going to Red Square or go for an awesome drive in the sun with the top down. I picked the latter and saw only 3 Corvettes during the 100mi ride. Did one of my regular South County routes and it was awesome ending with lunch at Buzz In at the Snohomish airport.
I'm putting together a FaceBook page so any interested local south Sno/No King people want to get together for coffee or drive on a nice day that will be an easy way to keep in contact.
Okay, I'm starting to get the picture. Mike, your comment re better communication from the organizers would indeed be helpful. I wonder how many people on this forum realize there is a website for E@RTC. Despite the wonderful turnout the event draws, maybe it's time to take another look and see if there's a "better format" or perhaps another location - which kind of defeats the purpose of the RTC administration, I suspect, and is becoming something other than the guys really intended. They've done an admirable job over the years, but it's beginning to look like the event has outgrown itself.
Maybe they might consider following on the XXX format and having a different Marque featured each week., even moving the event to "center stage" on the street that runs through the center of the mall.
Other than the change in opening hours for BJ's I wonder if anyone's met with the RTC administration to work out a new plan that benefits everyone?
It's a nice atmosphere for a car event but I'm more interested in what people build or track; not how big a check they can write except for a rare few cars like the LA Ferrari.
I don't bother showing my car there because it looks mostly stock and all the goodies are in and under it with my finger prints on most of it.
I just take the show for what it is and be happy it even exists.

Just got back this evening from our yearly Laguna Seca Race event, our 15th in a row. Tired and beat, but surprised at some of the comments in this thread. I'll be watching them closely next time I go...
So judging from some of the comments, does that mean some of you guys are gonna stop going? I mean I could see why since you never know what they'll end up telling you regarding whether or not you can park in the main lot.
It's stupid that they said C7 or Z06 ad above Corvettes only. Personally I like seeing everything from C1s to C7s.
Two weekends ago I attended, but was told only Grand Sport and Z06s are allowed into the show going forward. I was allowed in with a C7 Z51 only because it was clean and I was the only C7 in attendance. Talking to the volunteer, they are thinning the herd due to a smaller parking area and more cars showing up this year. I suspect the rules are somewhat flexible however...just depends on your timing and the turnout.
