ClearView Cruisin!
Saturday was looking nice so I took the vette for a cruise through Snohomish and then up to Clearview! I did not expect any cars to be there as it was around 3:30 which is just before when cars tend to start showing up.
Looking Southwest I saw a very nasty rain cloud. So I ran into the store, picked up some wine and snacks.
At 4:00 it started to ever so lightly sprinkle. I fired up and rolled out of the parking lot. I was treated to an unrestored 40's something and a very sweet Chevelle just coming in.
All the way home I just skirted the cloud and never really saw rain other than that cloud appeared to park over McDonald's and unload! YIKES! Glad I left when I did!
The evening was a bonus because I had time with my bride!

The Clearview hang out is only about 10 minutes from where I live. Stop by there occasionally to see what's there. Oftn times it's the same cars but there is the odd surprise or two.

Actually it's a little shopping center with an Albertsons in the center and a MickeyD on the corner. They have a nice parking lot and every Saturday afternoon from about 4 til 7 there is almost always a group of 30 to sometimes 100 cars.
But not the stuff we all see at ERT. This is all stuff built by the owners. lots of cars from the 30's & 40's on up. Some custom stuff. Lots of hot rods and often a good number of rat rods. Usually a bunch of older guys where the general consensus is built not bought but there's always a group of mustangs and they will have examples of the current cars. There are a few vettes usually C2s.
I take the green vette up there every few weeks to check out the cars. Lot's of them are really nice and only a few minutes from my house.
It's at the corner of 176th st SE and Rt9 between Snohomish and Woodenville.

Maybe this was meant (RTC), typically good gathering of euro exotics and misc.

Mr Peabody has reached the age where he's confusing his acronyms. I think he was asking about an Emergency Response Team. He doesn't like to wander far from a good medical facility I guess. He even married a medical professional.
He did share with me a good report on the Clearview gathering last weekend though when he drove me to my CPR seminar. It's part of the requirements if you want to be his friend.
It's worth it. He's a great guy!
