I got my DSC controller installed in my Z06 a couple weeks ago (Thanks for the help, Mike (aka Ammo)) and my alignment done Tuesday so now all I need is some moderately warm & dry pavement to start really enjoying my new ride!
Would you be up for a drive to Anacortes and a meal at Anthony's?
The earlier we start the earlier a meal we can have ... and the later we start back the more traffic we run into particularly between Marysville and Everett.
There is the Italian Car Show at he XXX in Issaquah. Always an interesting event and with the expected nice weather I would think some of the RTC crowd might b anxious to turn out.
Maybe Easter Sunday has something to do with it? I know I'm having my daughters and their families over for a big meal together....
No, Pat, that's not a normal turnout, but, yes, maybe being Easter Weekend may have something to do with it.
I confess, as a long-time enthusiast of Italian cars I really like this show. It's rally intersting and even fun to s so many Fiats and, well, Etceterenis that turn out for this event. The Fiats alone are nice to see and still enjoyed by their owners..
Another model that bars a close look are the Alfa Giulia ti's and other models. Take a peek at the twin-cam all-aluminum engines and other ';bitsa' sruff. I'm hoping that we'll see a couple of the new Guilia Quadrifoglio sedans. Kinda the Z06 of compact sedans, without the stigma of low cost.
There is a rally going on today. Google search Dicks car rally. Looks like over 2000 people have replied with many starting points from Portland to Vancouver. All passing through Dicks burgers in Edmonds and then on to Arlington , WA at night.
Well, there were (at least) 17 Fiats there this morning, plus some other interesting cars.
Not a large turnout overall but worth attending nonetheless. Mark (Mr Peabody) and I walked around and enjoyed he day. To be sure it wasn't RTC, but as an italian car buff I rather enjoy looking at some cars that one doesn't often see at RTC. You know, like Fiats and Corvttes.
I wish I'd takn pictures, but I was having a great time explaining some of the cars to Mark as well as catching up with old friends from my Alfa Club days (which continue) as well as getting a chance to see the new "Fiata" - the Spider built by Mazda for FIAT and an Amazing 1932 8C2300 Alfa 2300.
A few Ferraris, mostly modern, some nice Panteras and an interesting Lamborghini Espada. Didn't gt to see the Quadrifoglio version of the new Alfa Romeo 560 HP sedan, but they did have a lesser edition on hand. Nice car.

Curious if there was a reason you needed to get your alignment done so soon... Was it off from the factory? Or did you get it done due to tire swap?
