FS: 1972 LT-1 Coupe
This is a numbers matching 43,xxx original mile car. This has been in my family for over 30 years. The original color is steel cities gray and was repainted around 1975 in the laguna gray color it is now. I have documentation for the car but of course you can tell its an original LT-1 just from the VIN. Asking $39,000 obo. Located in Olympia/Lacey WA area. Thanks.

I just have to say, personally, that the chrome bumper C3s are becoming my favorites. This one looks really attractive. Even though I can't afford it I just have to say that I really like this one.
I don't know if the price is high, low or at market, but it does exceed my marginal propensity to consume. This is one of those models I believe that you can't spend too much. You might only spend too soon.
Nice car!!!
Let us know how you do in the market place.

I guess that I will see what the market has to offer. I am open to offers along with possible trade for a '69 Camaro.
Thanks again for the comment.

What's the update? Believe me, I'm doing my best to get your car sold or at least get an offer from some people on this forum who might let me drive it. I'm no Corvette expert, but, at the right price, your car ought to sell. Just not sure what the "right price" is.
If I was as wealthy as I try to convince people I am, I'd certainly consider it myself. It would be interesting if those on this thread would try and understand why it isn't selling. (no arguments, please)
Of course, please understand I once bought a '58 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite thinking I was going to use it for a touring car.
Sorry to continue on this thread when I am not seriously considering buying the car, but it just seems like a decent car and one that may appreciate over time. Chrome Bumpers and an LT-1. Doesn;t get too much better than that, does it? Were you aware that the LT-1 was RPO ZR-1 at the time? Is everybody wanting a big block?
