Boo Oregon
My new Grand Sport arrives in Portland tomorrow so I just went to the Oregon State website and paid my 1/2% "car import tax" (as I need the certificate to take delivery).
I hope Kate Brown loses tomorrow

Well with any luck a state representative will read this and perhaps we too can start paying an import tax on any and all goods and services that do not originate within the confines of Washington State. The Dems likely already have their adding machines smokin.

Sounds like a good deal to me... I brought 2 Grand Sports into WA State and had to pay about 9.5% sales tax on each one..

they sure are -- in Seattle if you buy ammo there -- the tax is an additional $.05 per round purchased along with about 10% sales tax.
When you buy tires -- the sales tax is applied to the Federal tax as well.
If you buy a sweetened Cold drink in Seattle -- you must add an additional $.0175 per ounce plus the standard sales tax.
If you want to drive I-405 in the car pool lane and dont have 3 riders -- the cost us usually around $10.00 toll one way.
