I need new tires for a 1993 40th anniversary and living in Seaside the selection is thin. Les Schwab or nothing. Any suggestions? I would like to stick with the Hillsboro/ Beaverton area as am driving on 20 year old treads. Thanks Steve
Check out Tirerack on line. They will have installers that they have authorized in your locations to do the actual installation. I ordered some tires from them, they shipped directly to the local Goodyear stores and they were mounted and balanced by the local Goodyear store. Price for mounting and balancing were confirmed on line and very reasonable. They did try to sell other items while I was there, battery and oil change which I declined with no additional pressure.
Also they were not Goodyear tires but Pirelli and no issue at the Goodyear store.

Good idea on Tirerack. I get their ads since I've been looking for tires. I'll try it and also swing by Costco. Somehow I forgot they sell tires. Thanks
Costco Hillsboro installed a set of Michelin pilot 4s on my z06 last June when they had a $150 dollar off deal. They did a great job and were extra careful on my wheels. I would call first and make sure they have your size and type of tires in stock.
C4 tires are indeed hard to find. My friend in Montana uses Continental tires and had to go to a smaller size.
He is happy with the results. This is on a 1994 coupe.

Most Costco stores do not stock high performance tires in the store. They special order them but it only took a few days when I ordered them.
I just bought some BFG tires from Discount Tire, they were about $130 cheaper for a set of 4 than at Costco (that includes the $110 Costco promotion going on). If you use Hagerty for car insurance, you could get an additional $100 rebate if you buy at one of their distributors (not sure it works for Costco, but it should work for Discount Tire). I just went through this exercise of finding deals a couple weeks ago.
Edit: this is for 255/60/15 & 225/70/15 for a C3, so not sure how much help that may be
