2025 C2 of the Year ('64-'66) Finalist - Unmodified
Westport
Is there anyone from the Seattle-Tacoma area interested in going to the Corvette show at Westport September 4th? I would be interested in meeting up somewhere or going as a group.
C2CorvetteBob,
Our club Puget Sound Corvette Club has a few members who are driving together to Westport Saturday morning. We are leaving from the McDonalds parking lot at the intersection of 512 and South Tacoma Way at 7 am.
You can contact me directly through the club website. I am the VP and my email address is on the website.
You and anyone else is welcome to join us. I am in the bright aqua metallic 95 Convertible.
I am not sure from these posts if anyone is meeting us to drive there together. I have not received any PMs so unless I hear back today I will have to assume I’ll C2 it and C2CorvetteBob are driving there on their own.
Correct assumption??? If that is the case we will see everyone in Westport.

Thank you kind sir. I was not so concerned about you Mr.Black since you were very clear that you would already be there. I just did not want to leave anyone behind that may have wanted to caravan together.
What a great show that was put on by Corvettes of Grays Harbor. Our first time going to this show but it certainly will be an every year occasion from now on. The rain never happened, met some new fellow Corvette enthusiasts, and they gave out the best swag bag from any show we have ever attended.
Thanks for the pictures! I had to miss it this year but it's one of my favorite settings for a Corvette show. Glad the weather cooperated and y'all had a good time.
Lol can’t you just Google hotels? Seems a strange reason not to attend
Those of us that host car shows, regularly provide recommendations for accommodation and even post on our club websites, hotels with a block of rooms set aside for the car show attendees. This host club of this particular show didn't do that, hence why I contacted them. Looks like you are a newbie, so you likely don't know this!

Being new to the Corvette forum doesn’t mean I’m not new to car clubs / shows. Fairly certain I’ve been a member of automotive forums for a longer period
Just seems a bit stubborn, or petty to not attend a show due to a non-response about hotel rooms.

Fair enough, but not stubborn at all, just wanted some recommendations before and picking a place to stay that I have no knowledge of except the crime on that side of our state!
