I'm roadtripping to Astoria on Saturday and was wondering if there is anything going on down there Corvette wise? Are there any Coffee and Cars things? How about nice drives to go on that are off the beaten path?
I'm not sure about Cars and Coffee events in Astoria but I will 100% recommend eating at "bowpicker fish and chips". I'll make the 1hr drive in from Portland just for those fish and chips. If interested, bring cash - that's all they take.
A nice drive off the beaten path is hwy 47 between 30 and 26. Great pavement with lots of turns. Maybe it's too far off course but...maybe not

That might be a tad bit out of the way for this trip but it is definitely going in the file! Thanks!!
That section between Clatskanie and Mist is my favorite 15 minutes of road anywhere in the PNW. It's well worth the detour. The drive up to Hurricane Ridge would be up there if not for all the traffic.
