I have used Fusor by Lord's. It comes in two attacked tubes that uses a special caulking gun. It is used for new vehicle construction and it is VERY strong. I am sure others will agree. I bonded my rocker channels in with it. Just a small bead will do.
If you are going to bond the front clip to the car with fusor I would get at least two tubes. This is one job you don't want to end up short. Also fusor comes in diffrent setup time slow cure and fast. Just take your time and fit everything first. Go to www.lordcorp.com look at adhesives and coatings

The Eckler's and Vette Bond II set up much too quickly for the occasional time users, on the range of 5 -10 minutes depending on temperature and mixture ratios. The Fusor and 3M brands offer up to an hour. For me, it was near impossible to get everything lined up properly in the short time frame.
Dont use that crap from ecklers... use 8219 from 3m. Its afiberglass/ smc glue. Itsv ery nice stuff and lasts, and application is very nice when you use the gun for it. you have about 45 minutes to work with it in nice conditions with little humidity. Its all i ever use on restos and/or anything fiberglass. - Roger

This is the stuff I am looking at using a two part Lord Fusor 310 A/B Thixotropic Epoxy that you can mix up to suit your needs and can get in larger quantities for the bigger projects like firewall etc.. that I too will be tackling . Anybody here use this one ?
I used the Fusor 127EZ to bond on my front clips. I am not familiar with the product you mentioned. It almost appears they make too many products to confuse us.
Not sure about birdcage, because I didn't mess with that. I think I bought 4 tubes and used about 3 1/2. But that included all the bonding to the firewall, including across in front of the windshield area, and new inner fender wells. Some clips you can get do not have the connecting section in front of the windshield. It would be better to have too much than too little, and I think you could return any unopened tubes.
I would say that enough is when you push on the pannels to set them that some squezes out of the seam, then you can smooth it with your finger. never to much if you ask me!
