Default paint Help!

I now have to repair and paint my coupe and have never done it before!

should I keep the car indoors while stripping(i'm sanding)?

How do I remove decals and trim from the tops?

what may cause the paint to peel in places?(its been taken down to the gelcoat(?) and repainted before. not by me.) the longer it sits the more it peels!

The car is peeling either from bad prep or material incompatibility on the previous job. Either way you are stuck going down to the substrate to fix the problem with your paint work. You can set the car outside while stripping it, just be sure to properly clean every panel before you start working on it. You can grind oils and such into the surface with sanding so that is the only concern there. If you sand the panel down the to the fiberglass and prep as per the manufacturers recommendations you will have a very good, long lasting paint job. I would use a two part epoxy primer that is high building (if you have difficulty laying the high build consult the tech sheet and see about thinning it down only as much as necessary) and then seal/top coat. The decals will have to come off with a razor blade; catch an edge and work it back, the trim depends on who and what put it on so you may have to have someone look at that. Let me know if you need any other advice about the job.
