Default Replacement panel alignment

I am replacing the passenger side quarter panel as well as the taillight panel on my 73 coupe (using NOS GM panels). As both panels are currently missing, aligning the replacements is concerning me. Does any one have suggestions on the best way to align up new panels.

Thanks
Tony

try lineing up seams and holding with spring clamps or vise grips measure, measure ,and measure again go to other side to compare heights measure distance from door jam to wheel well ,shim with small pieces of old fiberglass strips to get panels level test fit panels and do them one at a time remember to make sure bumpers and inner brackets will fit before final bonding, iam just an amature but it works for me also remember the satisfaction you will get from doing it yourself and money saved

Thanks for the reply, I am sure with lots of time and even more measuring it will work out. I think using the belt line will assist and maybe setting up the chassis on stands to get as true level as possible might be the way to go and then like you say measure and compare and when I am sure measure again.
Thanks for the encouragement.
