I am getting ready to paint my 77 code 66 orange back to original color. Car has been stripped to glass and all body work done. I was going to use PPG base/clear DBU but it is quite costly another member posted this Valspar paint over in C3 and I was wondering if anyone has used it and if so how were the results. Thanks
I used it a few years ago when a Valspar Tech Rep gave me the system to try out. I sprayed my brothers 69 Camaro with No problems at all.
His car sits out in the weather and it's held up just fine. I like it and I'd use now, except no one sells it in my area.
It's a good system without the big price tag.
I sell Valspar so am not impartial. But you will like the product if
you go that route. Use the 999 base if you do although the 333 isn't a
bad base either. What's cool for you is that the Valspar tech and
training center is in Grand Prairie.
