seems like a good idea. I am not using it on my vette but on my 50 model chevy pickup body
Sand or bead blasting sheet metal will warp the panels. Not the thing to do. You could sand blast your frame but it makes a big mess and the dust is toxic. Your neighbors might get mad at you. Consider taking the frame to a shop to have it done.
You could use plastic media for stripping paint but it won't remove rust. Also makes a big mess and for what the blaster and media would cost you, I bet you could have take the care and have it done.

Just my 2 cents.
I do not plan on blasting all of the body panels just the hard to reach areas like around the windsield frame where there are compound curves that would be impossible any other way. it is not rusted thru just surface rust. the metal on this truck is pretty thick and I think if you keep the air pressure down and not do any open flat surfaces it should not warp. the frame is getting sent out
