best primer?

Default best primer?

getting ready to prim car. I have a 79. I was thinking 2k poly primer.
Would this be the best? Any suggestions.

I think you would be better off with epoxy as your sealer and then use some 2K for your build/blocking. I really like SPI epoxy, great stuff and a good price.

However I use PPG epoxy only to support my local supplier. They are the one you depend on for your supplies and advice.

You did not mention what you were priming over. Is it old paint or bare body?

spi epoxy. i use white unless it is a black car or really dark. i use no 2k primer.
