I recently posted about a crack in the paint in a 1980 Corvette front
bumper. I decided to chemically strip it and start over. I found a
previously repaired crack in the urethane that came apart when I
stripped the bumper. The crack is located on the front outer
edge of the bumper next to the parking lamp.
Question: I purchased Sem no. 88422 Bumper repair. Are you able
to sand this material to a feather edge? Or after sanding do you
need to apply a flexible glaze ( Sem makes one) to enable getting a
nice feather edge in preparation for primer?
