I have a black 06 C6 coupe, that had a 1.5" scratch approximately 6 inches from the bottom of the door. I touched up the scratch and wet sanded it with 2000 grit paper. Well, the paint was so thin, I started slightly started to go through the color so I stopped. I now have a 1.5" diameter sand mark. My question is, Should I have a reputable painter spot paint the defect or have the entire door painted? The rest of the door is in perfect conditon. I just don't want the finish to be different ie no orange peel. The car is garage kept. Thanks,
