Paint prep while I drive. What first?
I just bought a 88 Vette that was repainted at one time. Not sure why exactly but the previous owner said it had some touch-up work on the front and back.
Pretty crappy job in places, discolored in spots and overspray in areas.
I would like to repaint the car this fall but get a jump on it this summer while driving it once in a while. Once fall is here Ill start breaking it down more.
What can I do to start the process without having to commit the car to the garage until its done? Plus the front bumper cover will need to be replaced, its ripped on the bottom.
Certain panels I can start sanding?
