Default Body off C4 "task"?

For starters I posted the following in the "wrong forum"!

"Factory Correct" is NOT my intention!!!

Here I guess is the appropriate "home" for it!

--------------------------------------------------

I'm interested in removing the body "cowl to rear bumper" from one of my C4's and reassembling it on another rolling chassis! I've searched pretty well and found "zilch"1 I am familiar with most "body off" procedures but I believe this C4 project is seldom tackled. I'd appreciate a link to some information or "first hand experience" would be appreciated.
Is someone "into one of these" presently!!

Thanks,
-Dave

Might be cause there isnt such a thing. The C4 is a unibody construction. The frame and body are one.

I understand the construction BUT I'm curious as to how and where it's "bonded" to the frame perimeter. Is it a "manageable task" to remove it without destroying the "sub-structure" etc?

Get a good manual that shows the body construction and look at it.

That's exactly why I've posted here! If there's a quality product out there that discusses the assembly I'd be quite interested in "putting my hands on it"! If you could, point me toward one!
I understand why the chassis "as built" wouldn't or doesn't lend itself to hotrod construction BUT it's components have sure displayed their value in hotrod construction.
