seriously,need help
i have a 85 vette and live in australia, car came from japan with *** varnish all over it, which clear coat is peeling off. i left it in the rain for 5 weeks so the rest off the clear would come off and save me some time in rubbing it back. the car was silver now it is red again, in some places the glass or smc is visible and i have a small crack above rear wheel arch how do i fix this? i went to the local fibreglass suplies told them it was smc and they said ur stuffed you have to get it plastic welded, yer rite ******** im out of here. i better talk to the proffesionals on corvette forum and get this project happening. so where do i start red is the orig colour, i am going to paint it myself, what sealer do i use aswell, what do i use to fix the crack which is 12inch long and fine only just visible. i also noticed pin head bubbles coming through the paint which happened from leaving it in the rain
