85 new paint
Hi folks.....first pic of my BC/CC Anthracite Pearl metallic paint.....done in my garage with a Harbor Freight LVLP and a 20 gal compressor, only thing I removed was the front and rear emblems and carefully masked the rest of the car. I also removed window moldings at top of the door, and they needed replacing anyways. I color sanded with 2000 and buffed with a wool pad and System One, topped with Meguires NXT. I could not have done this without some of the things I learned on this thread....it was definately a learning experience and my next paint job will hopefully be even better! I have about 600 bucks into the paint (not including the 100 hours or so of labor) Original color was black.
