I'm in the process of getting the car ready for epoxy primer and I'm wondering what order you guys do the door jams and doors...etc. Do you paint the doors on or off the car? I have the doors off, gutted and ready. The doors jambs are almost ready. Just not sure what order is the best. Do you paint the jamb with the hinges on? I still have to fit the doors and front clip. Surely someone knows the best way to do this.

1. put the front clip on, gap all your doors, then take the doors back off,
paint the jams, now your choice ? paint with doors on or off.

for a top quality job you want to paint the doors off the car. just have your striker in place and your hinges premarked for fitment. just be very careful resetting the doors and always have a second pair of hands to help hang them. i mask off all edges with masking tape before i rehang them...good luck....
