Default striping paint

I started stripping my paint with capt lees It seems to be a very messy time comsuming process so far. is there any tips you can give me. I keep reading of using a razor blade do you use anything before using the blade because it doesnt seem vey easy with the blade either.

standard single edge razor blade, about 1 1/4" wide.
when you get the feel for stripping the paint,
you actually peel the paint off in 1 long continuois motion.
only try and peel the strip no wider than about 1/4 width of the blade,
so the strip you peel will be a max. of about 3/8" wide.

At first it is hard to develop the knack of peeling/striping
Preheat the area to be striped with Heat Gun if required,
usually you can strip without heat once you learn to peel the paint skin off.
Depends on your old paint.

any wider than that , you can not make a smooth pull,
and the blade will dig into the fiberglass !
