Default Paint or sand!!!

Have new B/C clear on car and not happy with color or end results. Will S/S urethane adhere to fresh clear that has been sanded with 1500-2000 or do I need to completely resand with 600. Will there be a compatibility problem between the two systems.
Thanks,
Norm

400 and you should be good to go. block it good and shoot it. don't know what your times are or what window your working in. may have to let it set in the sun for a few days.

Porchdog, what about tight areas like between door jambs, would a 3M scuff pad be sufficient? No way will I be able to reach all the tight areas and sand on this vet.
Thank you sir,
Norm

Thanks Porchdog. One more question and maybe I can stop bugging you. I have several spots that were sanded through the clear and down to the base coat. All materials are PPG Deltron or Concept. Will the edges of my clear wrinkle when shot with SS acrylic urethane. It was painted a couple weeks ago so everything has cured properly along with a sanding process that was completed several days back. Just trying to cover my bases on this one.
Thanks,
Norm
