Do you soak your complete gun overnight for deep cleaning ever? I clean my Sata with thinner and leave tip in cup with thinner, but my gun needs a deep clean. Would soaking entire gun in thinner hurt it overnight? I need gun cleaner will ruin it!

my guns are never dirty enough to soak. i break it down and clean it well and lube it after every use . NEVER use anything to scrub a gun or cup. rinse well with thinner then break it down and clean good with urethane reducer.
