Default Soda Blasting

Hi, recently I bought a blast cabinet so I can begin blasting small parts but by I still haven't ordered the compressor and it looks like Im moving up. Not to long ago I bought a 1982 S10 Drag truck that im rebuilding and I really want to blast the whole car in the driveway without any mess and everyone says soda blast! so I wanted to know what kind of setup I will need for soda blasting. I thought just a bucket full of soda with a pick up line that runs to the gun, as well as the main compressor line that runs straight to the gun. Would it work?

I think there is something different about soda, I have a good portable sand blaster and eastwood sells a kit to modify it for soda blasting. it has an extra hose on the bottom for something. you might check out the pics on thier website and see if it makes any sense to you.

Default Soda Blasting Caution

I used this on a corvette , worked just okay with removing Paint and Spray putty, however you need a large compressor and be mindful that when you go to remove the residue and use water to wash away EVERYTHING that is metal and or plated will be runied, its basically like salt, wish we never used it.
