magnetic red
I am looking to paint a project car magnetic red. I was talking to a guy in a parking lot that has a corvette the color I want and he said it is magnetic red and the year of his car is 2002. We did a brief check of his car and did not find the body tag to get the color code, don't know where they hid it. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what the color code is for that paint? I went to a dealership body shop and asked and got a blank stare. My paint store does not list a magnetic red for the 02 corvette and the color chips in their book are too small to really identify the color. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your help, now that I have a code I will purchase the smallest amount I can and spray it on a fender and make sure it is the color I am looking for. I would hate like he.. to send it to the paint shop and not be certain. I am not sure what websites you found as I was poking around on the net for the better part of a week without success. But then I am a crotchety old man and computers are not my best friend in the world.
