This may not be helpful, but the vin # of the car sometimes relates to the paint code of your particular car. I know it sounds odd, but when I went to a dealer to get touchup paint for my electron blue 03 coupe, they asked for my vin #, and said that there were variations in color depending on the vin # and what was used when that particular car was produced. Apparently, there was more than one "electron blue" for that year.
If you contact a dealer, they should be able to confirm your paint code using your vin #. Maybe ? It's worth a try, and it doesn't cost anything to ask them.

Thing is, I'm changing the color of my car from black to JSB so that won't help.
But a call to Dupont solved the mystery - that IS the correct number. Now to get over the $1,900 sticker shock for the materials!
