Default SEM primer

Is using SEM rattle can high build primer ok for use in C2 bodywork to fill in slight high/low areas of the repair? ..

That sounds like a bad idea, rattle cans are mostly solvent and may or may not be compatible with what you put on next.

If you absolutely have to use a spray can primer, Eastwood has a 2K epoxy (in a can).
It has the hardener in an internal chamber that you pierce before using.
Say's 4 day pot life, but I had the best luck using it all up right away.
Beige color and sands pretty easy also.
Bit pricey.

I've used it on my rear bumper .... haven't sprayed over it yet
